GENDER EQUALITY IN ERA

GENDERACTION monitors and publishes position papers on the gender dimension in European Funds for R&I (H2020 and FP9, ERDF and ESF). Work focuses on mapping national procedures and stakeholders and identifying promising practices for gender equality and gender mainstreaming in the design of European Funds for R&I. The results are delivered to the HG and may be presented to the ERAC Steering Board, H2020 Strategic Committee, and SwafS Expert Group representatives at the national level.

Liaison with ERA relevant stakeholders are aimed at:

• mapping topics for (Competitiveness) Council conclusions 2017-2020;
• monitoring/mapping implementation of Council Conclusions on Gender Equality directed to the Member States;
• mapping the gender equality policies of ERA  stakeholder umbrella organizations and communicating policy advice developed
• disseminating results of the analysis of National Action Plans on ERA Roadmap Priority 4 (WP3) and task 5.2 Exploring the gender dimension of Open Science and Innovation policy and task 5.5 Policy advice on Gender in European Funds for R&I

Our policy advice documents:

• Information on the gender dimension in international cooperation in STI
• Outputs on gender and SDGs in research and innovation
