The Gender & Science structures outside the EU are crucial for facilitating effective incorporation of gender mainstreaming in international science, technology, and innovation (STI) cooperation. These structures can provide support during negotiation, implementation, and monitoring phases of multi- & bi-lateral cooperation initiatives or in international research and innovation projects under Horizon Europe, the latest European Research Framework Programme.
One of GENDERACTION tasks is to develop international coordination of Gender & Science structures and strengthen gender mainstreaming in STI systems. So far we have identified 97 Gender & Science structures outside the European Union (see more about this activity here). Help us to update and expand this community! This network of G&S structures will serve as a database of contacts for international R&I projects under Horizon Europe and international science policy-makers in order to advance gender equality in international STI cooperation.
We invite you to add relevant organisations from your country or region
- Please, check out the list of G&S structures we already identified first to make sure it’s not already there (on the second list of google spreadsheet we refer to below under bullet points).
- Provide us with, if possible, the relevant information about them (by adding your input in free row/s of the table). Contribute as much as you can, partial information is already great!
- Please note that the spreadsheet will be open for editions until the 20 March 2021.
- And do not hesitate to share this call among relevant stakeholders and networks.
